When Alyssa Van Duyse is out in the field, taking photos of a bride and groom on their special day or a newborn relaxing after a feeding, she is in her element. The emotion she feels during a shoot can be seen in her photos.
Alyssa has BA degrees in journalism and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and worked as a newspaper reporter for 13 years. During that time, she honed her skills in photography. She began shooting professionally in 2011. Her areas of interest are weddings, seniors and portraits.
Alyssa lives with her husband, daughter and German Shepherd in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
